Jeroen Oudheusden (Dutch)
Executive Officer at FSI
The Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI) focuses on creating mainstream sustainability in the floriculture sector by creating an international, sector-supported vision of sustainability and aligning global and local interests in the sector in a pre-competitive way.
About the Sustainability session: Sustainable production and products will become the norm. In order to be successful in the long term, we are therefore committed to making the sector more sustainable. Stefanie Miltenburg explains how Royal FloraHolland has translated this concretely into four ambitions, covering its own business operations as well as the chain and the sector. Cooperation is essential in order to achieve the set objectives.
In this sub-session, we focus specifically on cooperation within the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), the largest international floriculture initiative that gives direction to sustainability. Jeroen Oudheusen explains what FSI stands for, what they are working on and what the vision is for making the sector more sustainable towards 2025.
