Rob Veenman, chairman of the day, guided the participants through the programme. Steven van Schilfgaarde, CEO of Royal FloraHolland, welcomed the participants with a speech in which he reflected on the current situation in the world and discussed the developments at Royal FloraHolland.

Three members spoke, explaining the meaning of being a member of the co-operative now and in the future.

The theme of the day was 'digitalisation'. André van der Linden, CIO of Royal FloraHolland, took the participants through the developments of the digital world and the opportunities and possibilities within the sector and for growers. A fascinating discussion followed with a panel consisting of four members of the Members' Council and the audience, on the basis of a number of questions.

After the break, there were a number of inspiration sessions on themes such as the new business, energy issues, Floriday, greening in cities and 'talking to management'. It was also possible to visit the information square to ask questions and gain knowledge about various current developments within Royal FloraHolland.

There was plenty of room to meet and talk in a relaxed atmosphere. The day ended with a pleasant drink and buffet. We would like to thank all participants for coming and making this wonderful day a success.
